Therapy With Me
I offer a compassionate, grounded, and open space where individuals can explore the parts of themselves that feel blocked from living authentically. While I deeply honor the emotional work that arises in therapy, I’m far from “doom and gloom”—I enjoy bringing humor and lightness into the room when appropriate. Much of my work focuses on helping people clear both their inner and outer worlds so they can reconnect with their intuition and innate wisdom.
My Identities & Lived Experience
I am a cisgender, white, middle-class woman, and I actively work to stay aware of how my privilege impacts the way I move through the world and show up with individuals.
I am also a mother to a very spirited, strong-willed daughter who has taught me profound lessons about patience, presence, and humility. I identify as a partner, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, teammate, and community member—and across all these roles, I strive to show up with authenticity, kindness, playfulness, and love.
My Clinical Approach & Training
I am deeply knowledgeable about the many ways overwhelming or traumatic life experiences shape a person’s emotional world and physical body.
My work is grounded in:
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS) — a trauma-informed model that helps individuals understand and heal their internal world
-
Somatic Experiencing (SE) — a body-based approach supporting nervous system regulation
I integrate both to support individuals in reconnecting with parts of themselves that feel stuck, burdened, or protective.
Who I Work Best With
I’m a strong fit for individuals who:
-
Are already functioning well in their daily lives and want to level up their self-awareness, intuition, or personal clarity
-
Are motivated, reflective, and eager to explore their patterns, parts, and inner world
-
Ready to make intentional life shifts—whether in relationships, parenting, boundaries, identity, or personal alignment

Who I’m Not a Clinical Fit For
I’m not the best fit for individuals who are seeking:
-
A quick fix
-
Support for active addiction
-
Treatment for severe trauma or complex PTSD
-
Support for eating disorders
-
Treatment for severe clinical depression
What Sets Me Apart
I didn’t initially plan to become a therapist. My early graduate studies focused on public policy design and analysis and program development. Over time, I found my way into therapeutic work—merging systems thinking with deep personal transformation. This background gives me a broad, contextual lens for understanding people within their environments.
Commitment to Learning & Growth
I recently completed a powerful IFS Healing Circles training and am excited to create local community groups, particularly those supporting parents and caregivers.
Resilience, Joy & Fun Facts
Nature is my deepest resource. If I weren’t a therapist, I’d likely be doing environmental conservation or forest service work—ideally in the Adirondacks, which always has been a deep place of peace for me. I also receive ongoing therapeutic support and consultation.
For creativity and grounding, I love pottery, painting, and silly crafts with my daughter. There is always plenty of hot glue involved—never glitter. Boundaries matter!
